Feeling lazy, need exercise, too much pizza
Spent a day at home today, it was nice to be woken up by the sun heating up my room and to hear the birds sing in the morning! Is a nice change from waking up at the terrible hour of 6.30 (well more like 7 since I ignore my alarm clock) and having to drink several cups of tea before I feel awake enough to walk out of the house.
So I spent the day getting organised and getting into college work again. Didn't get that much done but its a start. Got some feedback from my super nice marathon running lecturer of mine, Ray. He provided feedback on my latest assignment, an exercise on fiduciary duties. Despite the lack of effort I put in into it I got back a positive response, I'm beginning to think that he is the most positive and encouraging lawyer I've ever met! Everything I've submitted gets a "great work" or something to that effect. Ray actually reads the stuff I submit and goes into detail about improvements, he has restored my faith in legal professionals!
Ray's going to Canberra to participate in another marathon this weekend, he emailed all his students and provided a link to some photos :)
I spent all of tonight in front of the TV, interspersed with frequent visits to the computer. How sad is that, but I do love Thursday night TV. If I had my way I would watch from 7pm to 11.30 straight, the comedy trio of American Dad, Family Guy and Scrubs is seriously one of the best things to happen this year.
How funny was AD and FG tonight! Seth MacFarlane rocks! Really back to form tonight after last week's slightly boring episodes. The alien guy in AD became a concubine and stalled his Saudi Arabian lover by telling him embellished "fairy tales" of Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place....in FG Mel Griffin was left behind by her family and fell dead from poison darts right at the end! Bravo, bravo!
Oh the reference to pizza in the title of this post refers to me going to do paid market research last two nights. Had to trek to St Leonards to sample a few varieties of pizza (free dinner).
Look forward to Satay Sauce Meatball pizza, Romano and Cheese Baked Crust Supreme, and my favourite Smoky BBQ Sauce Meatlovers.. hmm...
